Ella Daly

Actor | Researcher | Theatre Maker

I’m a Canadian actor living in London, UK. I completed three years of intensive conservatory style training in acting, singing and dance at the Canadian College of Performing Arts before starting my Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in Collaborative Theatre Making at Rose Bruford Theatre. I also trained as a Clown at Ecole Philippe Gaulier (Le Jeu).

I believe strongly in Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and am passionate about ensuring that every child can access a rich arts and cultural life. As a researcher and theatre maker, I am currently exploring how Sensory Theatre is othered. I am particularly interested in accessibility, co-creation, human sexuality, and theatre for young audiences's role in creating social change.

I want to empower youth to express their perspective through the arts, create safe spaces for young people to engage politically and socially, and support children’s creative and emotional agency.
