Ella (she/her) is a Canadian multidisciplinary performing artist, living in London, UK. She is an actor, theatre maker and educator; passionate about fostering social change through creating, performing, and teaching.
Ella's recent directing credits include: INSTANT - Staged Reading (Kaleidoscope Theatre). Her acting credits include: Poor Goat in Puente Theatre's GRUFF (Carousel Theatre), Anna/Woman 3 in The Violin - a workshop (Peach Street Productions), Kate in If/Then (CCPA), God the Son in Paradise Lost (CCPA), and Mary Warren in The Crucible (CCPA)
In 2021, Ella co-founded Extended Space Theatre, (EST), a collective that creates interdisciplinary, inclusive, and intersectional physical theatre where artists share power and create collaboratively. Extended Space produces innovative new works of physical theatre, exploring themes including queer identity, young-adulthood, and friendship. Ella's work with EST has been presented at Theatre Skam's SKAMpede Festival, Intrepid Theatre’s OUTStages, and the Victoria Fringe Festival.
Ella completed three years of intensive conservatory style training at the Canadian College of Performing Arts. As an experienced public speaker, leader, and teacher with over 7+ years mentoring and teaching children and youth, Ella is passionate about cultivating an early love of the performing arts. She is a teaching instructor at Kaleidoscope Theatre for Young People
